A planet within the Milky Way, whose people had built the Doomsday Weapon which, when once used, created the Crab Nebula. The Weapon's radiation constantly leaked into the planet, destroying nearly all life on it and reducing the surviving Uxarieuns to a primitive existence in caves and tunnels beneath the surface. Colonists from Earth fought a fierce battle with the Interplanetary Mining Corporation over which group had the right to be on the planet. The Time Lords sent the Doctor there to stop the Master reactivating the Doomsday Weapon, which, once destroyed, enabled life to begin anew on the planet.
