THIS WEEK IN DOCTOR WHO - January 7, 2004
by Benjamin F. Elliott
Vol 7, No 1
TOM-TIT was the acronym in The Time Monster for the Master's device
to send objects through Interstitial Time. The bit between now and
now. I wonder if 2004 will get a similar footnote in the mind of
Doctor Who fans in years to come. 2003 saw the announcement of a new
series on the way, the 40th anniversary celebrations, and Richard E.
Grant as a new Doctor in a new format on BBCi. 2005 is the probable
premiere year for the new series, when no doubt Doctor Who's public
profile will increase massively. But what of 2004? Are the events of
this year doomed to obscurity between the heavyweights of 03 and 05?
Time will tell.

Time Lord (which you didn't see - UK Gold skipped it), the Doctor
and Mel resume their adventures in time and space. When the Rani

New later start time on Sundays. Richard Briers (Hector in BBC

Everyone is terrified of the things that go lurking in the night.
Everyone but the Chief Caretaker. Does he know something unknown to
