A planet within the Milky Way. Home to the human race, one of the most powerful races in the galaxy, whose Empires, Federations and colonies spread at various times to the farthest reaches of the Universe. The Doctor often cited it as his favourite planet and a majority of his companions heralded from it. The Time Lords briefly exiled him there. The planet was damaged by solar flares, moved across the galaxy and back. It suffered numerous invasions and takeovers, yet mankind proved indomitable. The planet was eventually consumed by its own sun.
