Planet rich in metals but upon which chlorophyll was scarce. The Tythonians were vegetarians and very large, making it essential that they found more plant life. An ambassador was sent to Chloris to negotiate a deal - Chloris had an abundance of vegetation but few metals. The ambassador, Erato, became embroiled in a scheme by a local ruler, Lady Adastra, to keep control of the planet's few metal resources. When the Tythonians did not hear from Erato, they assumed he had been killed and sent a neutron star towards Chloris to obliterate it.
