A humanoid mercenary from Riften Five, a satellite of Vita Fifteen. He appeared to be leading the human task force working for the Daleks when they planned to send pre-programmed duplicates of the Doctor and his companions to Gallifrey to assassinate the High Council. When the Daleks were defeated, he escaped to Earth with two compatriots, initially posing as police officers. Lytton then accepted work from the Cryons who wanted his help in ridding their planet, Telos, of the Cybermen. Lytton pretended to work with the Cybermen but they uncovered his subterfuge and turned him into one of them. At the last minute, Lytton sacrificed his life, saving the Doctor by attacking the CyberController.
