gallifrey
A planet within the Milky Way, in the constellation of Kasterborous. Home to one of the oldest races of the Universe, the Time Lords, Gallifrey is a planet largely constructed of wastelands and mountains. It has burnt orange skies and its trees have silver leaves. The Time Lords erected transduction barriers to keep out alien invaders and gave over a large portion of the planet to the Death Zone. Gallifrey is approximately 29,000 light years from Earth and is one of six planets in its solar system, Karn possibly being another. Other possible neighbours may be Solos and the Vardans' home planet.
