A financially powerful group on Earth who were committed to living their lives through logic rather than unnecessary emotions. They wanted to rule the whole of mankind along similar lines. They were fascinated by the Cybermen and financed an archaeological trip to Telos to excavate their tombs, intending to awaken them and work alongside them. The Cybermen were woken and immediately seized the representatives of the Brotherhood, Eric Klieg and his associate Kaftan, preparing to turn them into Cybermen. Both Klieg and Kaftan were later killed by the Cybermen.
