A planet within the Milky Way, and a member of the Galactic Federation. Its people, the Vegans, were excellent miners and burrowers, living underground. They possessed huge eyes with which to see in the dark. Vegans were popular in the Federation as mining experts, developing and utilising new mining techniques, such as the sonic lance used to aid the trisilicate mining on Peladon during the war with Galaxy 5. Vega Nexos represented the planet on Peladon, but was killed by Eckersley, the human engineer and Federation traitor, who disintegrated him with a heat ray projected through an image of Aggedor.
