A planet within the Milky Way. Dead for many centuries, it was the only known supply of Taranium, which Mavic Chen needed to create the Taranium Core which powered the Time Destructor. The Daleks intended to create the Time Destructor to take over the unaligned galaxies, but the Tarranium Core was stolen by the Doctor. One of the moons orbiting Uranus, Oberon, was the base for a sophisticated guild of noble assassins, the knights of The Grand Order of Oberon. One of these, Orcini, travelled to Necros to assassinate the Great Healer, better known as Davros, creator of the Daleks.
