A device created by the Karfelon scientist Magellan. It was a time corridor powered by Kronton crystals which could take a person to wherever they wanted to go. However, Magellan used the Timelash as a punishment for any Karfelon who disobeyed his will, throwing them into it before it was programmed, ensuring that they would end up somewhere inaccessible or simply be torn apart in the time vortex. The Doctor eventually managed to force Magellan into his own creation, sending him to Loch Ness in Scotland where his quasi-reptilian appearance meant he might be mistaken for the legendary monster.
