A volcanic planet in the Milky Way upon which the Doctor briefly hid from the Daleks, while in possession of the Taranium Core they required to complete the Time Destructor. The Doctor's old nemesis, the Monk, had reached Tigus after repairing the damage wrought on his TARDIS by the Doctor after their last meeting. The Monk attempted to lock the Doctor out of his TARDIS, thus stranding him on Tigus, but failed.
