terra alpha
A planet within the Milky Way, originally inhabited by the race known as the Alphidae or Pipe People, later colonised by humans. Terra Alpha was ruled by Helen A, whose policies were to enforce everyone to be happy. Those that were not, the Killjoys, were murdered by the State police, the Happiness Patrol. Population control was administered by the psychotic robot, the Kandy Man. However, this brought about an investigation by Trevor Sigma of the Galactic Census Bureau. Terra Alpha's policies were held in contempt by the writer Andrew X on nearby Terra Omega. Other nearby planets included Terra Beta and Vasilip.
