A vast space ship originally owned by a race who learned how to time travel. Terminus was flying back to the creation of the Universe when it developed a fault, causing it to jettison unstable fuel which exploded. This actually caused Event One and flung Terminus back past its point of origin. Terminus settled at the exact centre of the Universe. Terminus Inc then used the craft as a holding area for sufferers of lazar's disease. The Doctor had to prevent another explosion destroying the Universe and Nyssa remained aboard with the Vanir to try to find a cure for the disease.
