A planet within the Milky Way that, although arid and dry on the surface, had an ice centre. This meant that very close to the surface, the caverns were prone to freezing. The Cryons that lived on Telos thrived in the below-freezing temperatures, but were invaded by Cybermen. The Cybermen subjugated the Cryons, using the Cryons' freezing technology, to store whole armies of Cybermen. An expedition funded by the Brotherhood of Logicians found the Cybermen ice tombs, but they were resealed. The Cryons sought help to rid Telos of the Cybermen and with the Doctor's help, the Cybermen were indeed eradicated.
