A planet within the Milky Way and part of the Pliny system, where the Issigri Mining Corporation was based, dealing in Argonite. The Space Corps believed the prospector Milo Clancey was behind a spate of space piracy, but the real Pirates were operating out of Ta, using the respectability of the Issigri family as a front. The Doctor was held prisoner on Ta by Maurice Caven and his pirates but the Space Corps eventually arrived and freed him, Clancey and Dom Issigri.
