A massive entertainment complex built on the planet Argolis, as a monument to their achievements. The Argolin were a dying race, their nuclear war with the Foamasi had reduced their planet to radioactive slag and made them sterile. Visitors from all over the galaxy came to The Leisure Hive to enjoy zero-gravity squash, amongst other things, as well as the Experiential Grid, which centred around the Recreation Generator. The Argolin claimed most of their technology was dependent on Tachyonics but the Doctor and Romana were unconvinced. The Recreation Generator was also being used to create cloned Argolin warriors and reestablish the planet's superiority.
