Serpentine inhabitants of the planet Bandril, who were on the verge of war with their neighbours, the Karfelons. Karfel was under the control of Magellan, the Borad, and trade agreements concerning grain shipments had broken down. Magellan wanted the Bandrils to launch an assault on Karfel using a bendalypse warhead, which would kill the humanoid Karfelons but not himself nor the Morlox. The Doctor deposed Magellan. The new Karfelon leaders quickly renegotiated their trade agreements with the Bandrils, averting a catastrophic interstellar war.
