varos.net is now officially open! It's the second anniversary of Varos having it's own domain (previously it was varos.com), and to celebrate, the site has moved to the domain that was originally sought after in the first place!
The Doctor Who section is the first to make the change-over, with the other sections due to move during July, so keep checking back! -
Changes made to the Doctor Who section compared to the old site at varos.com:
-- Links section temporarily closed for re-construction.
-- Main index page drastically streamlined and now uses a smidgen of DHTML.
-- Audios, Books and Episodes sections renamed Audio Guide, Book Guide and Episode Guide respectively, and have been converted back to static pages. (Tech note: I still use a script to automate the pages, but the automation is done on my local PC.)
-- Information section has been renamed Databank and has been streamlined, consolidated and returned to static pages. - The old varos.com What's New has been moved to this page, and with the help of the Coranto news system, has been automated
-- Documents section removed, and the This Week in Doctor Who document given it's own URL: http://www.varos.net/drwho/thisweek/
-- Artwork section closed pending re-evaluation of the location of all of Jason's artwork.
-- Australian Information renamed simply Australia, with the documents updated.
-- UKTV Listings fully updated with a complete UKTV broadcast history. Be cause of this, a new Australian Doctor Who Broadcast History page has been constructed in the Australia guide and the UKTV listings have been moved there.
-- The Web Guide to Doctor Who has just had a direct URL translation.
