varos came in 3rd place for the 1999 Double Gamma awards (announced on 5 February 2000) for Best Australian Doctor Who website. This was an absolute surprise to me, as I didn't know that varos was nominated until about a week before the awards were announced. Thanks to those that showed their appreciation for the site by voting for it. -- Maybe next year, varos could score higher? :-)
varos came tied for 2nd place for the 2000 Double Gamma awards (announced in February 2001) for Best Australian Doctor Who website. Of course, after the previous year's achievement, I had an idea that some thing was going on, but I didn't expect that my prediction of improving a place came true. I'll go out on a limb and predict a credible placing for the third year running... Thanks to everyone who voted! :)
