event one

The origins of the Universe are still largely unknown. However, one of the most likely theories is that a vast space ship, Terminus, built by an advanced race, developed a fault and had to jettison unstable fuel which exploded. This ignited the Big Bang, sending the ship forward in time, not space, where it now exists, stationary at the centre of the universe. Seconds after this explosion a massive outrush of hydrogen began creating matter. Twice the TARDIS has been sent backwards towards this maelstrom, once when the Fast Return Switch in the TARDIS remained depressed and once when the Master used a duplicate Adric to reprogram the flight controls.
