A human engineer who was sent to the planet Peladon to help the native miners find efficient ways of mining trisilicate for the Galactic Federation's war effort. He brought with him a sonic lance but when it was activated, an image of Aggedor appeared and began killing people. This was really a massive heat weapon holographically disguised as Aggedor and operated by Eckersley, who was a traitor in league with a rogue group of Ice Warriors led by Azaxyr. When he was exposed, Eckersley fled into Peladon's caverns with Queen Thalira as a hostage, but he was tracked and killed by the real Aggedor.
